We took a day tour of Arthur’s Pass led by Chris. It was an amazing experience which couldn’t have been any better! Everything was top notch – the hotel pick up, the Trans Alpine train, hiking through the Park, the picnic lunch, and the drive back to Christchurch making stops at so many incredible places! Chris was a fantastic guide. It is so clear that Canterbury Trails goes above and beyond to make sure the trip is perfect – for example they decided to take another guide and split our family off from another twosome as they weren’t sure we would all want to do the same things – and this was on Christmas Eve! Ange was very responsive and promptly replied to all communications prior to the trip. This trip is well worth the money. We consider it to have been the best day we have ever spent on any vacation. Thank you!

Comment: My husband and I traveled to New Zealand for our honeymoon and were blown away with the magical beauty, friendliness of the people and the pristine grandeur of this country. We spent a day with John on the portion of our trip when we were visiting Christchurch. It was one of our very favorite days! We took the transalpine up to Arthur’s pass and John met us up there and drove us through some of the most beautiful places we had ever seen. He went out of his way to make sure we got a full days worth of showing us pure beauty in NZ! John is incredibly knowledgeable of the area and history of NZ and such a delight. We are grateful to have spent time with him and consider him a personal friend. Thankyou John and we hope we can see you again in the future! Cheers!
